I can tell you one of my least fav websites. panoramio.com, which is an off-shoot of google earth.

The community is mosty made up of Europeans, and the snobbery in the community, especially the forums is beyong belief. If your looking for a ‘friendly’ website and community, I would steer clear of this place!

I jsut recently discovered FotoFanatic.com It’s more of a community of photographers, more like a Family. You have the chance to critique each other’s work and have a picture of the day competition.

I have been loving that site. All the sites listed are wonderful, just wanted to add my two cents..
