News Flash? What's all this then?

newsflash-2

You might’ve noticed that over the course of the past week we’ve been bringing you snippets of news that are usually just a couple of lines and without any photos, along with our regular articles that have pictures and more than likely actual paragraphs. You see, we often get sent press releases or pick up on interesting tidbits of gossip that we want to convey to you, but that don’t warrant a full-on article. (It’s pretty difficult to say a whole heap about a firmware upgrade.) So we came up with the idea of the News Flash.

It’s a bit like an extended Twitter feed: a few more than 140 characters, but not necessarily even 140 words. And it’s right here on Small Aperture.

Don’t worry, we’re still on Twitter – and indeed we’d love it if you joined us there – and we’re not stopping publishing regular articles where we review, we rant, and we raise awareness (and anything else that we jolly well please that even vaguely involves a camera or an image). We just wanted to bring you even more news and groovy photography-related information. Hence the News Flash. With its cute little logo.

Enjoy!

And we now return to our scheduled reading.
