Haje,

Roger Harris here, managing the outreach for the "Name Your Dream Assignment"

Thank you for the post, much appreciated, and inspiring for any photographer (I've had my own photo Web site since 2000, http://www.junglephotos.com)

@Patpro, I am very sorry that you and many other folks are upset about the lack of legal details, before registration. You are right that we could have done a better job in this respect.

In defence of the sponsors and organizers, it must be said that this is the first time they (or anyone) tried anything like this. They wanted to test the waters before going pell mell into paying lawyers big bucks to figure out the legal nitty gritty. (Especially at a time when budgets are so tight because of the bad economy.) And quite honestly we are amazed, overwhelmed and humbled by the response.

So we truly beg your understanding and forgiveness and hope that this hiccup won't deter anyone's interest or participation.

Thanks for the link! That means I've got a few days to figure things out...

For me personally, it would be something along the lines of recreating a scene along the lines of Sin City; a noir type staged shot with smoke machines and awesome lighting all shot on 8x10....

Patpro; I agree, but it doesn't kick off properly until March 3rd, so I guess their legal bods are still ironing out the kinks.
