This works fine on my Powershot G7 (1.00i firmware) - the only thing I really use it for right now is for the RAW images, but these are superb and end up being some 12Mb in size. If you need software to view/manipulate the .CRW files I'd recommend the free and fantastic XNview.

I have a Canon SD 600 and just tried it yesterday. It is great, I was really missing some features now I have with my camera! I really recommend to experienced users! (Although some people can get lost in the many options -- That's problably why Canon did not put those features in the original software)
