Love photography... but how do you make money out of it?
I would like to start a career in photography but have no idea how to find clients or even who clients would be?

Where do you start?

I got accepted into The Art Institute of Pittsburgh 3 years early because I have a good portfolio. However; I'm debating going to school or not. How did you get started without going to school?

I am currently homeschooled, so unlike other young adults i am not able to take courses on photography in highschool. Right now i am just searching to see what i would like to do. and this is the first on my list. I was wondering(as a homeschooled student) what i would have to do to become a photographer. I already take pictures of my friends and nature. Which are my favorite things to photograph. However, i was wondering how i get started in the career. If you could help me out that would be great. Also can you give me some tips of your own so that i may start on the correct path. I would really appreciate you help.

I have a plan to work at a studio until I finish school and than open my own business. I was wondering if you would have any helpful tips to get be on the right track. If so I would be very thankful.

This article was very interesting, not to mention helpful. I am doing a college term paper on the feasibility of pursuing photography as a career, and you gave some invaluable insight into what it takes to be good. Thank you for publishing this information.
