		<description>finally. a scientific explanation why flash photographs of me usually have me with my eyes closed, unless i conciously supress the blink reflex from the pre flash...

of course, it doesn't explain why i'm also turning my head to the side in a lot of group and school pictures ;)</description>

		<description>When shooting with compact camera I tend to use the "anti red eye" flash that fires 0.5-1s before the actual flash. Not sure if my D50 (or any other dSLR) even has that option. That way people have already blinked by the time the _real_ flash fires.
